It’s okay to be…
I think somewhere along the way, social media made us believe we always have to appear perfect.
Perfect life.
Perfect marriage.
Perfect body.
Perfect house.
Perfect happiness.
But Instagram is often someone’s highlight reel… not their healing journey.
The truth?
It’s okay to be sad.
It’s okay to be exhausted.
It’s okay to feel lost sometimes.
It’s okay to stay in bed for a day, cry in the shower, cancel plans, or admit life feels heavy.
Being human is not weakness.
It’s real.
Even the people with the fancy cars, private jets, beautiful vacations, and glamorous lives still carry pain, stress, fear, loneliness, health battles, heartbreak, and uncertainty.
Pain does not discriminate.
We all have storms.
Some people are just better at hiding the rain.
I remember someone once telling me:
“The hardest seasons of your life will introduce you to the strongest version of yourself.”
At the time, I didn’t fully understand it.
Now I do.
At 33 years old, I underwent a lumbar fusion while raising two young boys and having a husband who traveled most of the week for work. Before surgery, I battled chronic back pain for years. There were days I honestly didn’t think I could keep going. I was taking pills just to function and forcing smiles so people wouldn’t see how much pain I was truly in.
And yet… somehow, those years became some of my greatest teachers.
Pain slowed me down long enough to finally hear my body whispering what my soul had been trying to say all along:
Rest.
Listen.
Stop carrying everything alone.
I learned that missing one baseball game didn’t make me a bad mom.
I learned I didn’t have to prove my worth through exhaustion.
I learned that asking for help is not weakness — it’s wisdom.
I learned patience.
Faith.
Stillness.
Trust.
And when I thought the storm had finally passed… another one came.
After my back surgery, I developed major stomach issues, SIBO, extreme weight loss, fainting, POTS symptoms, heart palpitations, hair loss… one thing after another. I remember sitting there thinking,
“Seriously… why me?”
But sometimes life doesn’t break us to punish us. Sometimes it breaks us open so we can rebuild differently.
After years of researching and truly listening to my body, I decided to remove my implants because of BII. They were filled with mold and bacteria, and suddenly so many pieces of my health puzzle started making sense.
When it rains, it pours.
But storms also cleanse.
And strangely enough…
I’m grateful for every single lesson.
Because I love the woman those battles created.
I’m softer now.
Kinder.
More compassionate toward people silently fighting health battles.
I rest without guilt.
I nourish my body instead of punishing it.
I stop slapping temporary Band-Aids on symptoms and start searching for root causes.
I honor my peace more.
I listen when my body says to slow down.
That’s healing.
Not perfection.
Not pretending.
Not pushing through until you collapse.
Healing is learning to love yourself enough to listen.
And right now?
I feel good.
Not perfect… but grounded.
Alive.
Grateful.
Healing.
Exploring.
Breathing deeper.
Laughing more.
Living softer.
Still fueling my body with nourishing foods.
Still prioritizing rest.
Still choosing peace.
Still choosing me.
So if you’re in a hard season right now…
Please remember this:
It’s okay to be healing.
It’s okay to be tired.
It’s okay to outgrow old versions of yourself.
It’s okay to rest.
It’s okay to not have all the answers yet.
Sometimes your breakdown becomes the doorway to your greatest awakening.
Affirmation:
I honor every season of my life. Even the hard ones are helping me grow into the person I’m meant to become.
Boho Beauty Healing Body Oil Ritual
When life feels heavy, create small rituals that bring you back to yourself. One of my favorite ways to slow down and reconnect is making a nourishing body oil with grounding, uplifting essential oils that calm the nervous system and remind me to breathe a little deeper.
Healing Body Oil Blend
• Organic coconut oil
• Vitamin E oil
• 4 drops sandalwood essential oil
• 3 drops vanilla essential oil
• 4 drops sweet orange essential oil
• 2 drops ginger essential oil
• 2–3 drops jasmine essential oil
Mix together in a small glass spray bottle, mix it all together and spray it on the body after a shower, before bed, or anytime you need a moment of peace and grounding.
As you apply it, repeat softly to yourself:
“I do not need to rush my healing. I honor where I am, and I trust where I’m going.”
The warm vanilla and sandalwood help ground the body, sweet orange brings a little light back into heavy moments, ginger supports warmth and energy, while jasmine reminds you to stay soft through it all.
Boho Beauty Reminder:
Your body is always speaking to you.
Slow down long enough to listen.
There is wisdom in the pause.
There is healing in the stillness.
And there is light waiting for you, even after the darkest storms.
Storms have a funny way of arriving all at once, don’t they? One hard thing happens… then another… and suddenly it feels like life is testing every part of your heart at the same time.
I was talking to a friend the other day who is walking through one of those seasons right now. The kind where you keep asking yourself, “Why all at once?”
And honestly? I think so many of us have been there.
I’ve always believed energy matters. When something painful happens, it can feel like a dark cloud quietly follows you around. Even when you’re trying your best to stay positive, grateful, hopeful… that heaviness can still sit on your shoulders.
But here’s the beautiful truth I’ve learned through my own storms: storms are not here to destroy you. They are here to reveal you. They reveal your strength.
Your resilience.Your faith.Your courage.
Your ability to keep loving even when life feels hard.
Sometimes life shakes everything up because you’ve outgrown the version of yourself you used to be. Sometimes the storm is actually clearing the path for something better, healthier, more aligned and more YOU.
That’s the hard part about growth nobody talks about. Healing rarely looks peaceful in the beginning. Sometimes it looks messy. Emotional. Exhausting. Sometimes it feels like standing in the middle of pouring rain praying for even the tiniest glimpse of sunlight.
But keep going anyway.
Keep surrounding yourself with people who feel like light.
Keep turning on the music that lifts your soul.
Keep moving your body.
Keep praying.
Keep journaling.
Keep speaking kindly to yourself.
Keep choosing hope over fear, even if it’s one tiny step at a time.
“You can’t control every storm, but you can control how you dance through it.” And I truly believe that.
Your power is not in avoiding the storm. Your power is in becoming someone who learns how to dance in the rain without losing their light.
And maybe that’s the lesson.
Maybe the rainbow was never just waiting at the end of the storm.
Maybe the rainbow was always growing inside of you while you fought your way through it.
So if life feels heavy right now, this is your reminder:
The sun always comes back out.
The rainbow always appears.
God, the Universe, your angels… whatever you believe in… are still surrounding you with love and light even on the darkest days.
Have faith in the process.
Have faith in yourself.
One day you will look back at this storm and realize it didn’t break you…
it built you.
JOURNAL PROMPT:
What is this season of my life trying to teach me… and who am I becoming because of it?
AFFIRMATION:
I trust that every storm in my life is shaping me into someone stronger, wiser, softer, and filled with even more light.
“Rainbow After the Rain” Diffuser Blend
• 4 drops Sweet Orange
• 3 drops Lavender
• 2 drops Vanilla
• 2 drops Frankincense
• 1 drop Peppermint
Diffuse, close your eyes, take a deep breath in… and remind yourself:
This storm will pass. My light is still shining.
As I sit here thinking about purpose and quietly asking myself, “What is my purpose?”
I know I’m not the only one asking that question.
Have you ever sat alone with your thoughts and wondered…
What truly lights me up?
What am I meant to do with this one beautiful life?
Such a simple question… yet somehow one of the deepest questions we can ask ourselves.
The truth is, purpose is not something you magically wake up and find one day. It’s something you slowly uncover, piece by piece, through living, learning, healing, falling apart, growing, and becoming.
Purpose lives inside the things that make you come alive. The things you could talk about for hours. The things that make you forget to look at the clock. And here’s the beautiful part… your purpose is allowed to change.
Maybe what fulfilled you ten years ago no longer fits who you are today. That doesn’t mean you failed. It means you evolved. You grew. You became more YOU.
One of the best ways to begin finding your purpose is to look back at your life and ask yourself:
What has brought me joy?
What has made me feel alive?
What moments made me feel deeply connected to myself and others?
Write them down.
Then ask yourself: Why did those things matter to me? How did they make me feel? Who did they help?
Could this passion somehow become part of my life’s work?
In other words… what excites you?
Not what impresses people. Not what society tells you to chase. Not what looks good online.
What truly excites YOU?
And then ask yourself something even bigger:
Can I build a life around the things that light my soul on fire?
For example… here’s mine. And yes, I’m being completely raw here.
My purpose in life?
Helping people heal. Making people feel seen. Writing words that inspire people to keep going. Creating all natural essential oil and herb products for healing and helping us feel our best.
Can I make that into a career? Absolutely.
How do I make it happen? By finally believing in myself enough to start. By writing more. By sharing more. By finishing the book. By creating instead of overthinking.
Can I make enough money doing what I love? Yes. I truly believe we can create beautiful lives doing what sets our soul on fire.
I believe in manifestation. I believe our thoughts matter. I believe energy matters. I believe if you can see it, feel it, work toward it, and believe it’s possible… incredible things can happen….It’s all about timing.
When I was a little girl, a teacher once asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
My answer?
Mother Teresa.
And I know… that sounds unusual for a little girl.
But what I loved about Mother Teresa wasn’t fame or recognition. It was her heart.
Mother Teresa believed the greatest thing we can do in life is love and care for one another, especially the poor, lonely, sick, and forgotten. She reminded the world that kindness, compassion, and even the smallest acts of love matter deeply.
And honestly? That’s still what I want to do.
I want people to feel loved. Seen. Inspired . Important. Capable of healing. Capable of changing their lives.
That is my purpose.
So now that I’ve opened up about mine… what about you?
Because we are all unique. All beautiful. All carrying gifts this world desperately needs.
Now let’s create a little magic together…
PURPOSE ROLLER
For room sprays use witch hazel. For rollers use jojoba or coconut oil.
Ingredients: • 5 drops frankincense • 4 drops sandalwood • 3 drops sweet orange • 2 drops vanilla • 2 drops rosemary • Optional: a tiny rose quartz crystal inside your roller. Add more drops if needed, depending on its size.
Why these oils?
Frankincense — grounding, spiritual clarity, calming the mind
Sandalwood — emotional balance and deeper connection
Sweet Orange — joy, creativity, confidence
Vanilla — warmth, comfort, feminine energy
Rosemary — focus, clarity, motivation
Roll it onto your wrists, heart, neck, or inhale deeply whenever you need a reminder of who you are and where you’re headed.
Because your purpose? It’s already inside you. Sometimes you just need to get quiet enough to hear it whisper.
Love and light,
Tricia
Healing Is Not One Thing
I think sometimes people are searching for the one magic answer to finally feel better.
The one vitamin.
The one workout.
The one meditation.
The one healthy meal.
The one doctor.
The one breakthrough.
But true healing usually doesn’t happen from one thing.
It happens from doing a lot of small things consistently with love, patience, grace, and intention.
Healing is moving your body even when you don’t feel like it.
Healing is choosing foods that love you back.
Healing is protecting your peace.
Healing is learning to quiet your mind.
Healing is laughter.
Healing is releasing stress.
Healing is sunlight, deep breaths, prayer, gratitude, music, nature, kindness, and surrounding yourself with people that make your soul feel safe.
I truly believe our bodies want to heal.
We just have to support them.
Movement is such an important part of that journey. And honestly? It doesn’t matter if it’s Pilates, walking, stretching, dancing in your kitchen, rebounding, yoga, swimming, or lifting weights. Just move. Get your blood flowing. Move energy through your body. Be consistent. Your future self will thank you.
And food… food matters so much.
What we put into our bodies affects everything: our energy, hormones, skin, inflammation, mood, gut health, sleep, and even how we think.
Try getting back to simple real foods: fresh fruits, vegetables, clean proteins, healthy fats, omega-rich foods, herbs, olive oil, healing teas, nourishing carbs, and lots of water.
Food can either help the body thrive… or slowly work against it.
And then there’s the mind.
The stories we tell ourselves matter.
Daily gratitude matters.
Prayer matters.
Meditation matters.
Positive thinking matters.
Your body hears everything your mind says.
One thing I’ve learned through my own healing journey is this: energy is real.
The people you surround yourself with matter deeply. Negative energy can drain you. Beautiful energy can inspire and heal you. Usually, we attract who we are. So shine your beautiful light. Lead with kindness.
Be compassionate. Encourage people. Smile more. Lift others up.
The world needs more love and light right now.
And maybe healing isn’t about becoming someone new.
Maybe it’s about returning to who you truly were before the stress, fear, pressure, and noise took over.

Trust • Faith • Healing • Becoming
Light a candle.
Put on soft music… maybe a sound bath, frequency music, or something that calms your soul.
Take a deep breath in… and exhale slowly.
You are here for a reason.
Every moment in your life—every high, every low, every twist and turn—has brought you exactly to this place.
March 22,2026
There was a moment in my life when I really started paying attention…
Not just to what I was eating—but to what I was putting on my body. Because here’s the truth that changed everything for me: Your skin is not a barrier… it’s an entry point.
Everything you apply—lotions, perfumes, candles, body oils—has the potential to be absorbed into your bloodstream and carried throughout your body. Into your organs. Into your system. Into your energy. And once you realize that… you can’t unsee it.
Fragrance vs. Pure Essential Oils
Most “fragrances” you see listed on labels are not what you think they are.
That one word—fragrance—can hide hundreds of synthetic chemicals.
These are man-made, lab-created scents designed to last longer, smell stronger, and cost less. But often, they come with a hidden price—disrupting hormones, irritating skin, and adding unnecessary toxins to the body.
Now let’s talk about the alternative…
Essential oils.
These are derived directly from plants—flowers, leaves, roots, resins—through processes like steam distillation or cold pressing.
They are alive.
They carry the intelligence of nature.
They’ve been used for centuries for healing, calming, energizing, and restoring the body.
When you use pure essential oils, you’re not just choosing a scent…
You’re choosing an experience. A feeling. A form of natural support We live in a world filled with convenience—but also overload. Chemicals in our air. In our homes. On our skin. And sometimes, we don’t even realize how disconnected we’ve become from what is real.
Coming back to clean, simple, natural ingredients is not about being perfect.
It’s about being aware.
It’s about making small, intentional choices that support your body instead of working against it.
Nature has always provided what we need.
Coconut oil.
Lavender.
Frankincense.
Rose.
Aloe.
Salt.
Herbs.
These ingredients have been here long before us—and they continue to support us in the most beautiful, grounding ways. When we choose them, we’re not just choosing clean products…
We’re choosing to reconnect.
This is your reminder to pause.
To slow down.
To breathe.
To listen to that quiet inner voice that always knows what you need.
Your body is constantly speaking to you.
Your energy is always guiding you. Take the time to nourish yourself—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Because when you take care of you first… everything else flows from that place.
When you remove the noise… the toxins… the overwhelm…
What’s left is you. Pure. Radiant. Aligned. And that light you carry?
It’s meant to be shared. So choose what supports your body.
Choose what feels good. Choose what is real. And most of all…
shine your bright, beautiful light for the world to see.
